DIRECTIONS TO BUCKMAN WELL
FROM DOWNTOWN SANTA FE
North out of Santa Fe on 285. Exit 599 Bypass (W) and proceed 3.2 miles to exit for CAMINO LA TIERRA. Exit right and turn right on Cam. La Tierra. It is 2.8 miles to the next turn. On the way you will go through a 4-way stop at E. Wildflower Dr.
After 2.5 miles, the road splits, and you'll bear LEFT, following the sign for Camino La Tierra and go up and over a stone bridge.
Immediately after crossing over the stone bridge, turn RIGHT onto PASEO LA TIERRA. Proceed 1.6 miles to the next and last turn.
This is a LEFT turn at a tennis court onto W. Estrada Calabasa. The road turns to dirt almost immediately. The road is washboard in many spots. Go 3.5 miles to Buckman Well, look for trailers and dirt track to your right.
FROM NORTH OF SANTA FE
Head south on NM 84/285 toward Santa Fe, and take the 599 Bypass southbound. Take the exit on your right for Camino La Tierra, then follow directions above.
FROM SOUTH OF SANTA FE
Going north on I25, exit onto 599 Bypass. Very soon there is a stop light. From this stop light go 2.6 miles to the next light, which is Airport Road. Go through this light, staying on 599. From Airport Road to the exit for Cam. La Tierra is 6.3 miles. (From I25 to Cam. La Tierra is 8.9 miles.) Now on Cam. La Tierra, follow directions as above.
