  • Elsa!  So glad you enjoyed the photos--I put them up just for you, especially since I got some good shots of you!

We had a great time--thanks for thanking us, but it's needless, since it wasn't really that much work, and just knowing that we were doing it for such a great group of folks made it totally worthwhile.  Glad you had fun!  Now what will our dear Richard think of next???

  • Shoot, maybe I should have worn my "Bubba teeth" in that photo, then...  Bring your magazine to Anna's tomorrow--can't wait to see you!
  • I hope that you didn't miss the irony that I chose a picture in which I look like a total HICK for my fancy hunt club photo!!  Yeehaw!!
  • HI there -- you mentioned making a calendar for your mom -- do you have a favorite software/web site for that? Iwondered which of the online packages turned out the best.

    See you Saturday! Nancy
  • Just had to update you on the little horse Danny you recommended for a PCer. I saw him at the Los Alamos North Mesa Stables yesterday, and he's fat and sweet. Comes to the fence and begs for kisses, and he'll be doing some dressage tests at the Coconino Horse Trials and Dressage Show in Flagstaff next month. His owner, one of our PCers Katelyn Johnson, is aiming to qualify for the USPC Championships Midwest in dressage, held in August in Kansas City.
  • So excited that hunting season is starting again! Can you post a roster of hound names so we can all start to get smart again on who's who?
  • Thanks, I have passed the info on to the club members and maybe we can find a good place for this nice beastie.

    Have a lovely summer,

    Nancy
  • Sounds worth considering -- what does he know how to do? Any dressage or jumping? Our mid-level PCers have to be able to do Training/First-level dressage and jump around a 3'3" course, both in the arena and on cross country, so that's the challenge. . . and I have one kid in the market for that level so she can take her next examination at the end of the summer, but no funds for a big purchase.
  • Welcome Elsa!
